😀 - Beautiful little cottage in lovely location. Very comfortable and well equipped.

We had a great stay in the apartment. It is the perfect location for walking and exploring the local area and such peaceful surroundings. Briony and Martin were both so friendly and welcoming. Martin took us to the wildlife hide to see badgers and it was absolutely wonderful! We'd highly recommend staying here!

What a great wee place, situated within very easy walking/cycling distance of the beautiful village of Boat of Garten. Everything provided within the cottage which has lovely views, and wildlife to see out of the windows. Briony and Martin were close by if needed (not that we did), and lovely to have fresh eggs, thank you for a great stay. We will be happy to come back next time we're in the area.

We had a lovely stay at this gorgeous cottage. It was extremely clean, very well equipped and situated in a quiet location. The enclosed garden was ideal for our dogs. It's perfect for couples looking to explore the many trails on offer in the Cairngorms. Couldn't recommend it enough!

We had a wonderful stay at the Sycamore Cottage and have added it to the top of our list to visit again. The space is inviting and very comfortable, perfect for our goal of getting away from crowds and close to nature. We loved the thoughtfulness and efficiency of the overall design, and use of natural wood throughout is simply beautiful. The cottage sits in a great position for privacy from other houses, with windows facing out across the small lawn, fields and woodland. Briony & Martin were responsive communicators and helpful in every way, with tips on great local restaurants etc. It really was a delightful experience for us and we were sad that we didn't get to stay longer. Thank you Briony & Martin!

We were delighted with everything about our stay! It was truly a home away from home. The location was great for taking day trips to everywhere we wished to go. Just lovely.

Immaculately presented accommodation in a stunning and peaceful location. Cottage had all the amenities which you need for a comfortable stay and the little touches like fresh eggs and bathrobes made for a warm welcome. Hosts were friendly, responsive to messages and made us feel welcome. Would love to visit again.

The cottage was very cute and clean and had a nice garden and view. The only issue I had was that I am a large person and could barely squeeze into the shower. I had to soap up outside the shower then get in as I couldn’t move my arms around me to scrub while in the shower. Otherwise the place was great!

We loved staying at Briony’s cosy cottage. So comfortable and private and all the amenities you could wish for including a washer/dryer. Briony and Martin were very friendly hosts and we enjoyed the eggs layed by their chickens. We would definitely stay again.

Very Good 😀 - Loved the cottage. Very well equipped. Beautiful views from verandah and lovely walks on the doorstep. Immaculately clean. The weather was amazing! Eggs left for us, which was a lovely touch. The owners are so lovely. 😞 - Don't usually like being negative, but the wooden bed frame was quite high up. Was bruised and sore from trying to get out of bed 😪 Shower cubicle was quite small, was tricky trying to wash without banging elbows off the cubicle. Traffic noise quite loud but the property is just off the main road to Aviemore. Quieter at night. Would've let the owners know in person but had to rush home on day of departure.

The cottage was in a lovely peaceful spot with an ideal enclosure for our dog. We particularly loved watching all the birds on the bird feeder including a spotted woodpecker and other bird we don’t usually see in the town. We enjoyed lovely walks and even enjoyed the sunset on the hill one evening. Thanks Briony for the beautiful homegrown strawberries as well. They were delicious.

The cottage is excellent, clean and comfortable. All the facilities you would need and neat little veranda with nice views to woodlands. Easy 1 mile woodland into Boat of Garten which has a very good restaurant (Andersons). We were lucky and the weather was superb - this part of Scotland is beautiful. Good choice of walking and golfing. Martin was very responsive and helpful. Thoroughly recommend this stay.

A perfect base for a week exploring the Cairngorms, 15 mins drive to Aviemore and 20 mins easy walk to the pub. The cottage is super cosy, really clean with everything you could possibly need for your stay. Even dressing gowns were provided. Our dog enjoyed the enclosed garden and was made to feel very welcome. We loved sitting on the porch in the sunshine at the end of a days walking enjoyjng the lovely views.

Wonderful country cottage in the beautiful surroundings of Speyside. The cottage is superbly equipped and easily accessible. Our hosts were friendly and responsive, and everything went smoothly. The garden is delightful, and the sound of the dawn chorus was amazing. We had a restful and relaxing stay, and would recommend both the location and our hosts! 5 stars!

We loved staying at Sycamore cottage. The views from the windows are amazing and in a great location for exploring the Cairngorms further. The cottage was clean and well equipped with everything we needed.
Briony was a great host and gave clear instructions and felt right on hand (even though we didn’t need anything).

Such a lovely cottage. It was clean and had everything I needed. The wood stove was so nice at night.

Briony & Matrin's location instructions were very clear and they helped answer my questions on using public transport.

Surrounded by beautiful mountains and can see a beautiful starry night sky. It's a great place to relax and enjoy nature. I had a wonderful time. Thank you.

Really happy I choose this place over others to be honest, even though we were out most of the time it was lovely to come back to and such a perfect size for couples

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is within east reach of Avimore and Grantown so there’s plenty to do without having to travel very far. It’s also super well equipped and warm - perfect for a relaxing in after a day spent hill walking.
Briony and Martin also recommended the local village Ceilidh for Hogmanay - it was so much fun!

Beautiful warm, cozy cottage in a great location. Hosts were super helpful and friendly. The cottage had everything we needed and we felt completely at home. It was spotlessly clean and I would highly recommend.
