We are absolutely delighted to be able to welcome guests back to Locheil Holiday Lets after the lockdown. We thought you’d like to know what measures we’ve put in place to ensure your safety, and how the local community is currently dealing with the pandemic.
For your peace of mind we have enrolled in the Airbnb Enhanced Clean scheme, so you can be assured that the cottage and the apartment will be thoroughly disinfected as well as cleaned to its usual high standards. Hand sanitiser is provided. All cleaning and regular maintenance is carried out personally by ourselves. To accommodate the extra cleaning we have brought our checkout time forward to 9.30 am and delayed our normal arrival time until 4.30 pm. Please do speak to us if these times cause difficulties for you.
If you’ve not stayed with us before we’ll meet you when you arrive and direct you to the cottage or the apartment, but instead of showing you around we will explain the basics and leave you some very clear instructions. If you’ve stayed with us before we hope you will remember where everything is. The keys will be in the lock, and you can leave them there when you leave. While you are staying in the accommodation you don’t need to take any special precautions, and (except in an emergency) no one else will need to enter during your visit. While you are staying with us, you should be aware that some local services are still restricted due to the pandemic. However, all the main supermarkets are operating as normal, as are most other shops. There is a well-stocked shop and Post Office in Boat of Garten, but customers are currently restricted to a maximum of 4 at a time so you may need to wait a few minutes. Please note that face coverings are still mandatory in all shops in Scotland.
